Childhood Trauma can be a diffucut subject to discuss. Every person feel the need to protect their heart from feeling or your mind from going mentally insane. For me in a nutshell childhood trauma for me was havingva single parent home. As a child I had know idea how normal that was in my community. Another childhood trauma, in conjunction to that of a single parent home was not having a relationship I always dreamt of with my Dad. Another childhood trauma was starting to realise the level of mental deprivation as an adolescent I suffered from. Finally, at 11 years old I was already suffering from Major Depression and attending Family Psychtherapy and had had a couple of incendents, that left me at Children’s hospital center with a Phd Nurse that study behavior. Still not understanding the psychology of it all at that time. I suddenly came to a realization that something is wrong and I need to escape it. I began writing poetry alot. Listening to heavy metal and then classical. They say it eases the mind. I had sleep deprivation or sleep apnea. I was rarely getting the necessary sleep at my age and much later in my adult hood. Now, as a new Mother I sit and realize how my Mother’s actions played a role in my charecter building and sef esteem affects. I wonder what everyoe personap experiences as a child were? What is trauma to you? Have you become a better person behind your past?

May as well!
What are you doing to mentally sustain? How has social distancing affected you and your lifestyle? Is this a type of isolation? Should there be more social distancing?
There are many stuck at home, while others
must work. I have decided to make the best out of this COVID19 situation. It has allowed me to get a few days off work. It has its challenges of mental depression and the small creative ideas that help mental strength. You see, some of my usual activities involve dancing, singing and cleaning. That has become my therapy. More than ever now. It really does not matter to me if I go outside. Video call, email and text has help me to socialize and co exist. On the other end of the spectrum I had to leave home both Monday and Friday of this two week to slow the spread phase. Everything was barely left. I got food from two places Monday. Then Friday I was lucky enough to find three cases of water. By the way my local grocery store priced it at 3 for $9.00. I did have a freak out moment where I saw people not following the 3 ft. rule. I was sliding and gliding while shopping and trying to walk faster than those around. I realized I was having a mental breakdown. It has placed so many people in tremendous fear. So in order for me to regain my mental strength I decided to binge watch my favorite television shows. This is also the perfect time to create new habits. For example wash hands and change gloves as often as we touch different surfaces and follow the three ft rule. Some may say 6 ft. I have been able to book a few remote interviews for my podcast and become more creative as the days surpass. Those things have helped me mentally sustain. While out I saw the same ol same ol regular folks that enjoy being outdoors. These people were not concerned. Some of them did happen to wear masks. How soon ahead will it be before people go back to their traditions? How are people really doing? May as well listen to your favorite podcast. May as well excersise. May as well read a book. May as well Netflix and chill. May as well read up on COVID19. May as well stay informed.
